11-Day Cape Town, Winelands & Family Safari 

This 11-day itinerary takes you to the iconic city of Cape Town, the rolling vineyards of the Franschhoek Valley, and premier wildlife destination Sabi Sabi Game Reserve. Starting in Cape Town, you will spend 4 days exploring the city and its rich cultural heritage with your family. See the city from above on a cable car ride up one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Table Mountain or venture further afield on a day tour to see penguins at Boulders Beach. Next up, discover Leeu Estate for 2 days exploring the outdoors of the Cape Winelands. Next up, travel north to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. Here, you will spend 4 days on exhilarating game drives and partaking in the lodge’s conservation efforts.

 

Day 1 - 4 Cape Town

Touch down in Cape Town International Airport where you will be welcomed by a representative ready to accompany you to The One & Only, a mere 20 minute drive away. Located in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, The One&Only hotel is the epitome of luxury living in the city and boasts a range of activities from a private spa island, world class dining experiences and  temperature controlled pools.  It's the perfect start for your South Africa with kids trip.

Day 5-6 Franschhoek

Day 7-10 Sabi Sabi Game Reserve

Wake up and enjoy a family breakfast before meeting your driver who will transfer you to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to your next destination, Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge via Johannesburg Airport. On arrival at OR Tambo, you will board a charter flight to the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve where a lodge representative will meet you and accompany you to the lodge, Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge.

This exclusive family home in the bush overlooks an active waterhole and an open plain, making it the ideal location for you to enjoy the wildlife from both your lodge and on exhilarating game drives. The lodge caters for the little ones, featuring an Elefun Kids Center where kids can partake in hands-on environmentally themed activities while under the supervision of qualified childcare professionals.

Day 11 Departure

Day 11 marks the end of your South Africa safari. After a final breakfast at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge, your driver will meet you to transfer you to the airstrip for your air transfer to OR Tambo International Airport for your onward journey home.
